Women’s day was celebrated on March 8, 2019 at College of Fisheries Engineering Nagapattinam. The event began with welcome speech. The vice-president Dr. K.Rathnakumar preside over the function and gave a speech on Women Empowerment by describing the various roles played by the women in the society. All teaching, non-teaching, contractual staff and student participated in the women’s day celebrations and performed speech and singing about women. At the end of the celebrations sweets were distributed to the students and staffs. III year student S.B.Sivakrishna proposed vote of thanks and concluded the celebrations. மகளிர் தினவிழா - 2019
மீன்வளப்பொறியியல் கல்லூரி, தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப்பல்கலைக்கழகம், நாகப்பட்டினத்தில் 08.03.2019 அன்று மகளிர் தினம் மிகவும் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவினை மாணவப் பேரவை சங்கத்துணைத்தலைவர் மற்றும் பேராசிரியர் Dr.K.ரத்னகுமார் அவர்கள் தலைமை தாங்கினார். பெண்களின் பன்முகத்தன்மை பற்றியும், பெண்களின் ஆற்றலை பற்றியும் சிறப்புரை ஆற்றினார். இவ்வுரை பெண்களை ஊக்குவிக்கும் விதமாக அமைந்தது. மகளிர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு மாணவ மாணவிகளின் கலைநிகழ்ச்சிகள் மற்றும் பேச்சுப்போட்டி, பாட்டுப்போட்டி போன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடைபெற்றன. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் S.N.கோப்பெருந்தேவி, S.ஜெனிபர்லுமின், V.தட்சிணானந்தன், L.ஓவியா ஆகியோர் சிறப்பான முறையில் பங்கேற்றனர். இத்தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு திரு L.சந்தானக்குமார் அவர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார். மூன்றாம் ஆண்டு மாணவி S.B.சிவகிருஷ்ணா நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். விழாவினை முனைவர் நா. மணிமேகலை, இணை பேராசிரியர் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தார்.
