The College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam celebrated to protect our earth. Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Dean (i/c) of the College presided the event. In his speech, he elaborated in terms of environment, plastics, wastage of electronic gadget, etc. He advised to power off of unnecessary electrical and electronic devices of house, offices and public buildings at 8.30pm to 9.30pm today. Also, he encouraged to use renewable energy, like solar power and to avoid plastics, papers. In the presence of Dean, Professors, students and office workers took pledge for the protecting our Earth through the activities and commitments.
