Students of Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri Grabbed the Several Prizes in CoFIESTA’2K19 at CoFE, Nagapattinam

The students of Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri have participated in the inter-collegiate Quiz and Cultural meet, CoFIESTA’2K19 at College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam on 11.04.2019. A total of five colleges from all over the state have participated in this cultural and Quiz events. Competitions were held among the participants to exhibit the cultural and skills of the students. The students of this Institute have actively participated in the on-stage events including Light Vocal Solo, Classic solo dance, Western solo dance, Adaptive tune, Mime, Group Dance, Mono acting and off-stage events such as Rangoli, Paper dressing, Fireless cooking, Chart Painting, Pot painting, Photography, Wealth from waste. Students actively took part also in Quiz competition. Dr. M.G.R. FC & RI, Ponneri grabbed 13 prizes out of 15 different events and brought laurels to this institute. Dr. N. Muralidharan, Assistant Professor served as Team Manager and took 24 students to this event for participation. The performance of all participants from Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri were appreciated by the Dean, Dr. B. Ahilan, President of Student’s Association and Dr. D. Manikandavelu, Vice-President of Student’s Association.
