Vice-Chancellor, TNJFU felicitates “Best Fisheries Entrepreneur Award” winner

Prof. G. Sugumar, Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Fisheries University felicitated Dr. M. Srinivasan, Director, Bharath Rhino Biotech, Thanjavur for bagging Government of India’s (Department of Fisheries) “Best Fisheries Entrepreneur/Proprietary Firm”. The award carries an Appreciation Certificate and Financial Incentive of Rs.2.00 lakh. During the felicitation, Dr. M. Srinivasan acknowledged that his association with the University as one of the participant of Aqua Clinic and Aquapreneurship Development Programme - a four week skill cum entrepreneurship development programme organized by Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics, Dr. M.G.R Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri played a key role in securing the award. Corroborating his achievement, the Vice Chancellor invited Dr. M. Srinivasan for R & D collaboration in technology validation and dissemination through the existing MoU of Bharath Rhino Biotech with the University. Dr. N. Felix, Registrar, TNJFU; Dr. M. Rajakumar, Director of Extension Education (In-Charge), TNJFU and faculty of Dr. M.G.R FCRI, Ponneri were present during the felicitation.

இந்திய அரசின் சிறந்த மீன்வளத் தொழில் முனைவோருக்கான விருது பெற்றவரை மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் பாராட்டினார்

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் பேராசிரியர் கோ.சுகுமார் அவர்கள் அண்மையில் இந்திய அரசின் சிறந்த மீன்வள தொழில்முனைவோர் விருதினை பெற்ற தஞ்சாவூர் பாரத் ரைனோ பயோடெக் நிறுவனத்தின் இயக்குநர், முனைவர். சீனிவாசன் அவர்களை 02.12.2022 அன்று பல்கலைக்கழக தலைமையகத்தில் நேரில் பாராட்டினார். இவ்விருதானது, பாராட்டு சான்றிதழும், ரூபாய் இரண்டு இலட்சம் ஊக்கத்தொகையும் கொண்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. முனைவர். சீனிவாசன் அவர்கள் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான பொன்னேரி டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தால் நடத்தப்பட்ட ஒரு மாத கால திறன் மற்றும் தொழில் முனைவு மேம்பாட்டு அக்வாகிளினிக்ஸ் மற்றும் அக்வாப்ருனர்சிப் பயிற்சியில் பங்கு பெற்றது, இவ்விருதினை வெல்ல முக்கிய காரணமாக அமைந்தது எனக் கூறினார். ஏற்கெனவே பல்கலைக்கழத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் உள்ள பாரத் ரைநோ பயோடெக் நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து ஆராய்ச்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளவும், தொழில்நுட்பங்களை தர ஆய்வு மேற்க்கொண்டு, விரிவாக்கம் செய்யவும் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தால் நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் என துணைவேந்தர் தெரிவித்தார். இப்பாராட்டு சந்திப்பின் போது பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் பதிவாளர், முனைவர். நா.பெலிக்ஸ் அவர்களும், பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் விரிவாக்க இயக்குநர் (பொ) முனைவர். ம.இராஜகுமார் அவர்களும் மற்றும் பொன்னேரி டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் உதவி பேராசிரியர்களும் உடன் இருந்தனர்.
