Announcement of rank list for U.G. Admission

Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU), Nagapattinam is conducting the undergraduate admission for the academic year 2023-24 through counseling for various undergraduate fisheries degree programs offering in the constituent colleges of TNJFU in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The rank list was released by Dr. G. Sugumar, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University on 27.06.2023.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that a total of 250 seats are to be filled through counseling for the 6 constituent colleges of the university which comprises of 120 seats in fisheries science, 30 seats in fisheries engineering , 20 seats in energy and environmental engineering, 40 seats each in fisheries biotechnology and food technology. Apart from these seats, 24 seats in fisheries science and 1 seat in fisheries engineering will be filled by the students of fishermen ward. Admission applications through counseling for various degree programmes offered in the University were received from 10 th May to 9 th June, 2023.

Totally, 16272 applications were received of which 57 percent are female candidates (9235 Nos.) and 43 percent are male candidates (7037 Nos.). Out of the total applications received, 15286 applicants opted for fisheries science, 12598 opted for food technology and 12799 opted for Fisheries Engineering. In the university ranking, Mr. S. Ajay, Mr. A. Jebarson, Mr. M. Rohith, Mr. S. Sakthikumaran, Mr. K. Sivapraveen, Mr. N. Bharathikannan and Mr. K. Vignesh, were secured a cut-off of 200 out of 200 and placed in first seven positions, he added. Under the special category, 138 applications were received against a seat for ex- servicemen quota, 50 applications for the 5% reservation under differently abled, 395 applications for 3 seats under eminent sports person category, 104 applications for the 5% reservation and 200 applications for the 15% reservation under the fishermen wards and 747 applications for the 5% reservation for vocational students. He also said that the in person counseling for the admission of these courses under the special category will be taken up initially, followed by the general counseling will be held through online at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in July 2023.

மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியல் வெளியீடு

நாகப்பட்டினம் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் கீழ் செயல்பட்டுவரும் கல்லூரிகளில் பல்வேறு இளநிலை மீன்வளப் பட்டப்படிப்புகளுக்கு 2023 - 24 கல்வியாண்டிற்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை கலந்தாய்வினைதமிழ்நாடு வேளாண் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் இணைந்து நடத்தவுள்ளது. மீன்வளப் பட்டப்படிப்பு கலந்தாய்விற்கான தரவரிசை பட்டியல்; 27.06.2023 அன்று தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர். கோ. சுகுமார் அவர்களால் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. இதுகுறித்து பல்கலைக்கழகத் துணைவேந்தர் கூறுகையில் மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கிவரும் 6 உறுப்புக் கல்லூரிகளில் மீன்வள அறிவியலில் 120 இடங்கள்;  மீன்வளப் பொறியியலில் 30 இடங்கள்;ஆற்றல் மற்றும் சுற்றுசூழல் பொறியியலில் 20 இடங்கள்;மீன்வள உயிர்த் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும்; உணவுத் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் தலா 40 இடங்கள் என மொத்தம் 250 இடங்கள் இக்கலந்தாய்வில் நிரப்பப்படவுள்ளன.

இதுதவிர மீனவ சமூக மாணவர்களுக்கென மீன்வள அறிவியலில் 24 இடங்கள் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியலில் 1 இடமும் நிரப்பப்படவுள்ளன. இதற்காக மே 10 முதல் ஜூன் 9-ம் தேதி வரை விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டன. மொத்தம் 16272 விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டதில் 57 சதவீதத்தினர் பெண்கள் (9235 பேர்) மீதம் 43 சதவீதத்தினர் ஆண்கள் (7037 பேர்) என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இவற்றில் 15286 விண்ணப்பங்கள் மீன்வள அறிவியல் படிப்பிற்கும் 12598 விண்ணப்பங்கள் உணவுத் தொழில்நுட்ப படிப்பிற்கும் 12799 விண்ணப்பங்கள் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் படிப்பிற்கும் விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர்;. மேலும் அவர் கூறுகையில் தரவரிசைப்பட்டியலில் 200க்கு 200 கட் ஆப் மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்று முதல் ஏழு இடங்களை திரு. எஸ். அஜய் திரு. ஏ. ஜெபர்சன் திரு. எம். ரோகித்  திரு. எஸ். சக்தி குமரன் திரு. கே. சிவபிரவீன் திரு. என். பாரதிகண்ணன் மற்றும் திரு. கே. விக்னேஷ் ஆகியோர் பெற்றனர் என்றும் சிறப்புப் பிரிவில் இராணுவ வீரர்களின் குழந்தைகளுக்குக்கான இட ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் ஒரு இடத்திற்கு 138 பேரும் மாற்று திறனாளிகளுக்கான 5 சதவிகித இட ஒதுகீட்டிற்கு 50 பேரும் விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கான 3 இடத்திற்கு 395 பேரும் மீனவ சமூக மாணவர்களுக்கான 5 சதவிகித இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 104 பேரும் 15 சதவிகித இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 200 பேரும் தொழில்முறைப் பாடப்பிரிவில் 5 சதவிகித இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 747 பேரும் விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர் என்றும் தெரிவித்தார். இப்பட்ட படிப்புகளில் சேருவதற்கானக் கலந்தாய்வு முதலாவதாக சிறப்பு பிரிவினருக்கு கோயம்புத்தூரில் தமிழ்நாடு வேளாண் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் வைத்து நடைபெறும் என்றும் அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து பொதுப் பிரிவிற்கானக் கலந்தாய்வு ஜூலை மாதத்தில் இணையவழி வாயிலாக நடைபெறும் என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.
