77th Independence Day Celebration

On the occasion of the 77 th Independence Day celebration at Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. G. Sugumar hoisted the national flag at TNJFU Administrative building, Vettar River View Campus, Nagapattinam on 15 th August 2023.  The Independence Day speech of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor embraced the history behind Indian Independence and various recent accomplishments in science, technology, economic fronts and in global leadership especially of the initiatives as G20 presidency and the facilities created for taping renewable energy resources by the Indian Government. In his speech, the Respected Vice-Chancellor advised the students to focus on leadership and hard work and commitment towards nation building with the base of rich Indian History and heritage to make India a World leader by 2047.

Cultural programmes imbibing patriotism were also performed by the students of the College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam, a constituent college of the University during this special occasion. Dr. N. Felix, Registrar, TNJFU welcomed the gathering and Dr. N. Manimehalai, Dean i/c, College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam proposed a vote of thanks. University Officers, Teaching faculty, non- teaching staff and students of the University attended the celebrations.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், நாகப்பட்டினம் 77 வது சுதந்திர தின கொண்டாட்டம்.

இந்திய திருநாட்டின் 77வது சுதந்திர தினம் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. மாண்புமிகு துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர் கோ. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் 15. 08. 2023 அன்று தேசிய கொடியை ஏற்றி சுதந்திர தின உரை நிகழ்த்தினார்கள். மாண்புமிகு துணைவேந்தர் அவர்கள் சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் வரலாற்றில் பொது அறிவியல் & தொழில்நுட்பம், விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி, புதுப்பிக்கதக்க ஆற்றல், உள்கட்டமைப்பு, பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் G20 நாடுகளின் தலைமையேற்பு ஆகியவற்றில் இந்தியாவின் சாதனைகளை விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். பல்கலைக்கழக அனைத்து பணியாளர்களும் தங்கள் கடமையை தேசப்பற்றுடன் செவ்வனே செய்து நாட்டு முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு தொடர்ந்து பாடுபட வேண்டும் என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். இந்திய பண்பாட்டின் செழுமையான பாரம்பரியம் மற்றும் பெருமைகளை பாதுகாத்து அடுத்த 2047 ஆண்டில் இந்தியா உலகத்திற்கு தலைமை ஏற்கும் என்றும் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில் பல்கலைக்கழக உறுப்புக் கல்லூரியான நாகப்பட்டினம் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியின் மாணவர்கள் தேசப்பற்றினை எடுத்துரைக்கும் வகையில் பல்வேறு கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தினர். பல்கலைக்கழக பதிவாளர் முனைவர். ந. பெலிக்ஸ் அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரையும், முனைவர். நா. மணிமேகலை, முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) அவர்கள் நன்றி உரையும் ஆற்றினார்கள். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில், பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் அதிகாரிகள், ஆசிரியர்கள், அலுவலர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் பங்குபெற்று தங்களின் தேசப்பற்றை வெளிப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
