The Annual Zonal Review Workshop 2025 of Zone -X KVKs was held during 2-4 September 2025 at VIT Campus, Vellore. Dr. Rajbir Singh, DDG (AE), ICAR was the Chief Guest. Dr. N. Felix, Vice Chancellor, TNJFU in his Guest of Honour address in the Inaugural session, emphasized the role of Fisheries University in the livelihood development of the farmers. The technologies available like murrel culture, pacu culture, sea bass farming and value added fishery products preparation for the livelihood development of the small and marginal farmers were briefly explained by him. The Vice Chancellors from ANGARU, SKLTHU, SVVU, GRI also participated in the session.
On the second day, 03.09.2025 Dr. N. Felix, Vice Chancellor, TNJFU chaired the session on “Innovations in Science of Delivery and Feedback”. Dr. A. Gopalakannan, Director of Extension Education i/c, TNJFU Co-Chaired the session. In this session four deliberations were made on From Art of Delivery to Science of delivery, Dynamic Feedback Loops- Modalities, Mentimeter for efficiency and outlook of KVK Professionals, Technology Inventory of NARES : Experiences, Examples and Future Plans.
The TNJFU KVK-Nagapattinam was appreciated for Promotion of Intensive Integrated Farming System with 15 Components in the rice based Cropping system and their efforts in Number of Demonstration Units established during 2024. The Certificates of Appreciation was received by Dr.V.Senthilkumar, Programme Coordinator, TNJFU - KVK, Nagapattinam from Prof. Dr.V.Bharathi Harishankar, Vice Chancellor, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women in the Valedictory function held on 04.09.2025.
The Director, ICAR-ATARI, Hyderabad and TNAU organized the event successfully.
